Drayton &
Ellis are able to offer a wide range of high tech’ controls for the
efficient operation of central heating systems. This could be as simple as
fitting thermostatic control valves (TRV’s) to a few existing radiators,
or as complex as a micro processor controlled system, which can take into
account differing patens of usage within the building, different
requirements for heating in different sections of the building, varied hot
water temperature requirements, utilising different energy sources and
making allowances for what the outside temperature is (weather
compensation).
Additional energy efficiency controls fitted to a domestic
central heating system only attract 5% VAT, so can be very cost effective
to install because of the savings they make. If a central heating system
does not appear to be properly controlled, we can provide you with the
necessary components to fix it. There are so many good and innovative
controls for central heating systems, that it is well worth talking to us
to see if there is anything we can do to improve the control and operation
of your heating. At the very least, every central heating system should
have a clock to control the operating times of both central heating and
hot water supply, and thermostats on both the central heating and hot
water to control the temperature of these.
